Search engine optimization (SEO) why ???

is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a search engine's "natural" or un-paid ("organic") search results. In general, the earlier (or higher ranked on the search results page), and more frequently a site appears in the search results list, the more visitors it will receive from the search engine's users. SEO may target different kinds of search, including image search, local search, video search, academic search,[1] news search and industry-specific vertical search engines optimization.

As an Internet marketing strategy, SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience. Optimizing a website may involve editing its content, HTML and associated coding to both increase its relevance to specific keywords and to remove barriers to the indexing activities of search engines. Promoting a site to increase the number of backlinks, or inbound links, is another SEO tactic.
Organic Website Optimization differs from Inorganic Website Optimization in various aspects. Inorganic Website Optimization relies more on manipulating search engine rankings forcefully by using monetary techniques like PPC (Pay-per-click) campaigns, Sponsored Listings, Links Purchase etc and / or malicious techniques like Spamdexing (creating web pages for search engines only), Cloaking (two different websites; one for search engine and other for general users) etc. This not only costs money but also carries the risk of getting your domain name blacklisted by the search engines.

On the other side, Organic Website Optimization is all about using ethical, search engine friendly techniques that beckon search engines. For ex, search engines give higher rankings to those websites that are content rich and user friendly. Taking care of this aspect, Organic Website Optimization gives maximum thrust on Content Optimization, Web Page Optimization and Link Building Techniques to make websites user friendly.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is a process of improving the visiblity of your website or a web page in major search engine's natural or unpaid search results, sometimes known as organic or algorithmic search results. SEO may target different kinds of search's including image search's, local search's, video search's, and academic search's. Basically, the higher ranked on any search engine's results page and the more frequently a website appears in the search results listings - the more visitors will potentially visit your website via using these search engines; and with 7/10 clicked links in search engines being organic (unpaid) SEO is not something to skip on. As standard we will incorporate basic SEO procedures within your website creation and deployment stages.

Keywords and Description are an important part of SEO, as picking the right keywords could mean your website being displayed on the 1st page or the 100th page. For example; for Ecommerce websites, your keywords should be focused on your product: what it is that you sell? What keywords will your customers search for in order to find you? These keywords should include broad keywords such as "clothing", "toys", etc; and targeted keywords such as "blouses", "jeans", etc. Using our website designs your website will automatically take all of the words from the title and description of each product page, remove common words, prioritise them and insert them into keywords and description metadata for search engines to read.

Page titles, headings. sub headings, title attributes, and alt attributes are also key roles when optimising a website for SEO, and our website designs will always be optimised in these areas. Static and XML sitemaps are also considered an importancy for SEO and therefor will always be developed along with any website we design.

There is only so much we can do to help get your website at the top of search engine results pages but there is also things you must do yourself! Getting your website at the top of search engine results doesn't stop once your website is up and running - think of a Sunday newspaper offering a free product with each purchase, they still market their product even when their product has been running for decades. There are certain things you can do to keep search engines interested in your website and keep scanning your pages for new content - Link building plays a big part in keeping your website high in search engine rankins; using blogs, social networks and forums to link back to your website. Keeping your website fresh with new content is also very important - Ensure you update your website as often as possible with blogs, new products, new pages, and testimonials.

1-Include Meta and title tags.
Some search engines still use Meta Keyword, Meta Description and Title tags to catalog and rank Web pages. Be sure to place a title tag at the top of each page to identify the document's overall content. You should also write an accurate Meta description tag because it's often used by search engines to describe a site in search results. And don't neglect to include a Meta keyword tag to reveal the most important keywords for each page to search engine spiders. This is one Website optimization trick you do not want to overlook because Meta tags can be the key to getting "found" by search engines.

The following two lines can be included in your head tag assuming you have a regular HTML page in English with a typical character set (from a typical American keyboard). They are included in the invisible header sent to a requesting agent by the page and make your code more professional:

<META http-equiv="content-type" CONTENT="text/html;
<META http-equiv="content-language" content="en">

D. ALT Text. Images have ALT text for people who have non-graphics browsers or for people who are visually challenged and must use a talking browser. Use your focused keywords or key phrases once (if applicable) in the ALT text of your images. But again, don’t go overboard.

2-Place keywords strategically throughout your content.

Having keyword-rich content is the key (pardon the pun) to performing well with search engines. Load your Home and other critical pages with important keywords, since it may be the only page indexed by some engines.

3- Validate Your Home Page.

Validate your homepage at: http://validator.w3.org/. It’s actually better to validate every page, but validation can be extremely time consuming. You could easily spend half and hour to an hour validating each web page. Therefore, for starters validate only the homepage. If you are building a site from the ground up it is important that you validate the site template BEFORE you start pasting in all your content or you will make the same HTML mistakes over and over again, and it will be much harder to clean up later. There are many many tips to help in validation. Ask a senior search engine optimization SEO if (when) you run into problems.

4- Clean Up Your Code.
Minimize your HTML code. The less, the simpler and the easier to read the better. Search engines have to go through all that junk too. Cut things like duplicate tags when you only need them once. And externalize your JavaScript’s and other scripts by placing them in a separate file and then using one liners in your code to call them.

5- Inbound Links.

In general the more links you have coming into your site from outside websites, the better. That being said, you could spend at eternity getting a million incoming links that only counted .000001% towards your site’s ranking. Links from pages that a) already have a lot of links and/or b) are completely irrelevant to your site’s content do not count towards your site’s ranking in search engines.

The best quality link is from a page that

a) is highly related to your content
b) has few outbound links
c) has high Google PageRank (you can view Google PageRank by downloading the Google toolbar at

6- is from an authority, quality site in your industry.

HOWEVER pages that have a high number of outbound links but are still highly related to your content, such as directories can still have a very good effect on your link popularity.

Therefore, you will want to spend your time acquiring quality inbound links. There are several ways to do this:
Create a great site with useful content and people will naturally link to you.
Request links from other related sites. You can do this through email or telephone, but half the time you’ll get a telemarketer’s response. And who wants endless rejection?
Establish actual relationships with other people in your industry (your supplier, your industry certification source, your wholesale retailers, your contract laborers, etc.) and ask for links back from their sites. Actively participating in forums is a good way to meet more people and make more friends in the industry that can later become link friends.
Make news. Write industry-related articles that you allow other people to put on their site in return for a back-link or write press releases and distribute them to free or paid press release services that will distribute your news and links across the web.

7- Outbound Links.
Your outbound links should link to quality, authoritative sites. Link outward when appropriate and choose wisely using keywords in your anchor text. Search engines care who you link to, and they do assume "birds of a feather flock together." So don’t link to just anyone, and don’t swap links with just anyone who asks.

8-. On Site Links.

If you have great content, it should be easy to link well within your site. If you have a page about dog insurance prices, and another on the dog insurance policies and another on the dog insurance pros and cons, and another on dog insurance resources link between them within your content using your keywords in your anchor text. This not only helps your visitors, but helps search engines to see a "quality grouping" of related content.

9- Check Search Engine Friendliness of Links.

Keep links as simple hypertext links whenever possible. Image links are OK, but they should not be dynamically generated, hidden in JavaScript, Flash files or image maps. If you use any of these techniques, make sure there is a regular text link to that page for search engines to follow somewhere on your site.
It is generally preferable for your text links to use your chosen keywords and phrases as anchor text. Hence search engine optimization guide is a better link than click here for our SEO guide. Plus, it looks better from a usability standpoint too.

10-Create a Site Map

Create a Site Map page and link to it directly from your home page. On your Site Map page place links to every other page in your website. This guarantees that every page on your website can be reached with a maximum of two mouse clicks or "link follows" by the spiders.

11-Optimize Website Speed with Browser Caching

As we all know, website speed is an important factor which Google considers for prioritizing websites for SERP, you must optimize your website speed from different prospect. In static website, the resources and files used like images, javascript files, CSS and all other supported files are intended to use for long terms. Due to this, you can utilize the browser caching feature and can reduce the time required for downloading each file from your hosting server.

12-Dynamic sites have a distinct advantage (for now) which is the ability to zero in on specific industry trends through creating unique content using the trend or relative keywords in a new post or series of pages. On the contrary, static sites (that remain unchanged for long periods) are usually from the old school of SEO. What is that you ask? Basic steps such as creating a page, making sure it is linked properly to other pertinent pages, strong on-page SEO (optimized links, titles and meta tags) and then augmented by a few hundred or possibly thousands of links.

This is still a very effective model for acquiring and maintaining a high ranking position, the value in the static site is, unless you link to it or link from it the stability of the page is not fluctuating and provide a solid base for high ranking search phrases. It helps to have the content you wish to rank for on the page, but it is not necessary as you can use off-page link building to increase the scope of the keywords your site appears for in search engines optimization (optimisation) Seo.

The other method is through using a content management system or database driven programming platform such as Drupal, .ASP, .PHP, ColdFusion, Ajax to hasten the internal linking process and organize your content based on categories or tags. There is a distinct advantage if configured properly and search engines are known to have an affinity with fresh content.

What is search engine marketing?

Search engine optimization

Search engine optimization is designing, writing, coding (in XHTML), and programming your entire web site so that there is a good chance that your web pages will appear at the top of search engine queries for your selected keywords and key phrases. Search engine optimization is optimizing for people who use search engines, NOT optimizing for search engines only.

At the core of optimization is keyword research. In order to obtain search engine visibility, you must use words and phrases that your target audience is typing into search queries. Keyword phrases must be carefully selected and placed strategically throughout your site. These keyword phrases must appear somewhat frequently and prominently on your web pages. The results of keyword research can also be used for planning pay-per-click search engine campaigns.

Optimization also involves allowing search engines easy access to your keyword-rich content. That can be done by creating a search-engine friendly web site, which is often the least expensive option.

Link development

Since link popularity has become increasingly important for obtaining and maintaining search engine visibility over the years, some search engine marketing firms specialize primarily in link development. There are many ways to generate links to a web site, both good ways and bad ways (search engine spam).

One credible means of link development is getting your web site listed well in high-quality web directories (also known as human-based search engines) and industry-related sites. In fact, I often begin all search engine optimization campaigns with the web directories. It's one of the quickest ways to give your site credibility.

Some web directories charge submission fees. However, paying these submission fees does not guarantee that your site will be listed in a directory. Rather, it guarantees that a web directory editor will review your web site within a specified period of time.

The benefits? Speed and high quality. If you can get your site listed in a web directory quickly, then I highly recommend it.

Directory submission is only the beginning of a link development campaign. To be successful, sites should have links to them from other reputable sources. A qualified search engine marketer who specializes in link development can help you build quality content, create a link policy, and manage link requests.

Social media optimization (SMO) is not search engine optimization, even though the sales and marketing people who promote this service want you to believe it. Here are a couple of things to remember about link development firms:One indicator of an amateur SEO firm is one who continues to promote that PageRank is a number between 1 and 10.
Social media optimization (SMO) is not search engine optimization, even though the sales and marketing people who promote this service want you to believe it. Social media optimization can, however, be part of a link development strategy.Link development is an ongoing, iterative process, not a one-shot deal. If a link development firm is promising instant link popularity, steer clear. You are probably dealing with a firm who engages in search engine spam.

What is Spamdexing?

Spamdexing, which is a word derived from “spam” and “indexing,” refers to the practice of search engine spamming. It is a form of SEO spamming. SEO is an abbreviation for Search Engine Optimization, which is the art of having your website optimized, or attractive, to the major search engines for optimal indexing. Spamdexing is the practice of creating websites that will be illegitimately indexed with a high position in the search engines. Sometimes, spamdexing is used to try and manipulate a search engine’s understanding of a category. The goal of a web designer is to create a web page that will find favorable rankings in the search engines, and they create their pages according the standards that they believe will help – unfortunately, some of them resort to spamdexing, unbeknown to the person who hired them.

Spamdexing Techniques

Here are some common spamdexing techniques:

1-Hidden or invisible text,
2-Keyword stuffing (also known as keyword spamming),
3-Meta tag stuffing,
4-Hidden links,
5-Mirror websites,
6-Gateway or doorway pages,
7-Page redirects,
9-Code swapping,
10-Link spamming,
11-Referrer log spamming

Spamdexing often gets confused with legitimate search engine optimization (SEO) techniques, which do not involve deceit.
Spamming involves getting web sites more exposure than they deserve for their keywords, leading to unsatisfactory search results. Optimization involves getting web sites the rank they deserve on the most targeted keywords, leading to satisfactory search experiences. To be sure, there is much gray area between the two extremes. The root problem is that search engine administrators and web site builders have different agendas: the search engine wants to present valuable search results, the webmaster just wants to come up first, particularly if he/she runs a commercial website and needs visitor Traffic from search engines and directories . For that reason, many search engine administrators say that any form of search engine optimization used to improve a website's page rank is nothing else than spamdexing.
Many search engines check for instances of spamdexing and will remove suspect pages from their indexes.
